The National Plan also announced that we would conduct an investment process on behalf of the Department for Education to appoint new Hub Lead Organisations. We’re excited to work with the music, education, creative and cultural sectors and beyond to build on the successes of the Music Hubs programme. Delivering high-quality, accessible music education and helping all children and young people in England fulfil their creative potential is a key part of our 2020-30 strategy, Let’s Create.

We asked the music, education, creative and cultural sectors how to achieve the ambitions of the National Plan through our ‘conversation and consultation’ phase. This feedback helped to shape the Music Hub Investment Programme and the new Music Hub areas.
